Meet Dr. Lito Lucas
Pastor Lito Lucas met Christ at 13 and sensed God’s call to ministry on May 1, 1975. After leadership roles with CRU and in his Philippine church, he left secular work in 1992 to pursue full-time ministry, earning an MTh in Pastoral Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary (1997) and a DMin in Pastoral Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2018). In Florida since 1998, he founded two Filipino international church plants (Lakeland, 1999; Winter Haven, 2012) and has served in various leadership capacities within the Florida Baptist Convention and SBC. Currently he is the Asian-American Multicultural Consultant for the Florida Baptist Convention, president of the Filipino Southern Baptist Fellowship of North America, and second vice-president of the Florida Baptist Pastors Conference. He and his wife Lilybeth have three children—Patrick (married to Laura), Andy, and Gracie.
